Very friendly place, decent food, plenty of indoor seating and located front & center as you enter town.
When all you want is a vanilla slice this is the stop
Dropped by on the way to grampians in January and the lamingtons and vanilla slice was AMAZING. Lamington was the fluffiest thing ever and the slice was creamy and flaky. Family's visiting and we decided to take them up to grampians and was so looking forward to taking them to the bakery, ordered the same baked good but unfortunately our experience wasn't as pleasant. The lamington was dry, stale and stiff, the slice was thick and chewy it may has well been gelatin.Also got a couple of meat pies and they weren't any better. The gravy was bland and rather runny, as well as lukewarm. Was utterly disappointed. Definitely won't be winning any more awards.
Food was fairly standard bakery stuff - not fantastic, but certainly edible. Shop was in need of some repairs and a good clean - just looked tired. Just passing through, so unlikely we would ever stop there again, but even if we were in town, I would likely look for somewhere else instead.
Best customer service and love the food. They always serve fresh food. Karein, the beautiful girl really knows how to make customers happy.
