A beautiful park to spend time in or exercise in, a gorgeous oval and grandstand to take in, and a fantastic recently opened pavilion and facilities for functions.
This has been a fantastic stop for lunch on the trip between Melbourne and Adelaide over the years. This time around though we found all the rose beds had been ripped up, the toilet block is gone, with a new one placed as far from the road as possible. The is a Cafe now but it's positioned a far from the road as possible. If this is a stage in some development activity, then great. For the moment it's lost its appeal for travellers.
