Good facilities, nice cafe and shelter, but very disappointed to drive an hour to be told that the slide would not open to 4pm due to lack of staffing. That was fair enough, but they didnt open the slide until 5.30 which was poor form. We went to Ararat especially to visit the lovely town and pool because of the damn water slide. We spent over $100 in the town for the day, and would of stayed in Ballarat if we knew the slide wouldnt be open like promised.
Really nice pool that was kept open by the community with new facilities, kids play area and soon to be a slide.
